A handmade wooden teapot made from birch. It was turned and carved as one piece rather than the spout and handle being added separately. I then used a combination of pyrography and India ink to add the vine and leaves. It was then finished with several coats of high gloss wipe on polyurethane. The lid was made as a separate piece and is actually maple . I wanted something with less grain for the lid. It is 9 inches long from the handle to the tip of the spout and it's 6 inches tall with the lid on.
